I promised a shorter post for a change so I broke the catch-up post into installments. This junk treasure was actually purchased at an estate sale the weekend before my vacation started but I got derailed by WBC and the excitement of a new antique store in the neighborhood and never posted about it.
You might have noticed all the colorful doilies in the photo at the top of this post. I swore I wouldn't buy more doilies but these were so lovely and clean and the price was right and, and... There is an assortment of yardsticks in the center of the table so it wasn't all about doilies!I got a nice stack of hot-iron transfers, as well. That clear plastic candy container is full of odds and ends of crochet edgings.
Seriously a BUNCH of crochet pattern books. There were a lot more but I tried to stick to the flowers and novelties. They are all from the 40s and 50s.
That pillow patter is so sweet. I have already listed it, along with a few pattern books, in my Etsy. Must get busy listing more before I am buried in a junkalanch!
Rayon seam binding in miscellaneous colors plus a hand-full of zippers in those old-style round plastic boxes.
One down, two to go! I hope your week is off to a good start.
