Junking and Foofing

I am happy to report I am making progress in the junkalanch, not so much that I can show you but I can see a big portion of my work bench now.  I have plans to do some rearranging in the art room once the piles are cleaned up so that is keeping me motivated to keep sending things along to their new homes.
The week was not without junking.  I got in a couple of stops and actually remembered to take a picture of some of it.

I picked up the wicker magazine rack to use in the booth. I have pictures and crochet books that are difficult to display on my shelves and had a forehead-slap moment when I saw the magazine rack.
The Mic and Dick book is old and German.  Husband was able to confirm it was a children's book but he can't read the old German script well enough to figure out what the story is about.  I just like the cover!  Yes, I judge old books by their covers....
The Christmas just keeps rolling in.  That old ice cream scoop has a neat orange handle.  The Currier and Ives mug in the back is a shaving cup.
I also foofed the booth for the sale this Sunday.  If you are local, Monticello is having a store wide  Superbowl sale this Sunday with complementary champagne.  Come sip and shop!

Is that a red purse I see in the background of your latest haul? It looks lovely. Your booth looks marvelous. I hope lots and lots of folks come by and pick up some great treasures before the Super Bowl starts tonight. Love all your Christmas goodies, too. Looks like you are having a lot of fun even in the organizing and cleaning of the art room.

If only I lived closer...I'd much rather shop for vintage goodies than watch football. You sure found some fun stuff this week. The red thingie looks interesting.

Your space is looking really good! I wish we lived closer, I would give you an old wire record stand that I used for books and frames....Shoot like minded people should not live thousands of miles away!!!

Happy Valentines day!

I like the jolly little Santa and the Bugler tin. You have such a knack with your booth display. I hope it's doing well for you.
