You probably all know by now that I'm just a little high-strung. (Ya think!) I discovered a book genre some call "cozy" mysteries. They all have a hook into something that interests me, like junk, buttons, crafts, etc. I enjoyed these books so much I decided to pass that relaxation along. We could all use a little relaxation during the holidays! I will be announcing a winner and posting a new book give-away each weekend from now until Christmas.
Each book give-away includes a handmade bookmark plus a few goodies that go along with the theme of the book. A Deadly Grind includes a vintage 1/4 cup measuring scoop and 8-1/2' vintage shelf paper.
The give-aways are open to anyone in the continental United States. All you need to do to enter is leave a comment on this post - that's it! If the book doesn't suit your taste then please spread the word to your friends who might like it.
In case you are wondering what A Deadly Grind is about, click this picture bigger and you can read the back cover. Don't you wonder who done it? I'll never tell!

I LOVE these kind of cozy mysteries, but I've never seen any about junk. Must get to the store! Please enter me in the drawing (although I have never heard of number 1 being picked!)
I enjoy "cozy mysteries," too. I have been reading the Jane Wheel Series by Sharon Fiffer and the Josie Prescott Antiques Mysteries by Jane Cleland. I would love to be entered in your drawing. Thanks much.
I've not heard of cozy mysteries so look forward to being introduced! Would love to be in your draw....J
Cozies are my favorite, too! This book is a new one on me, but I feel like it has my name written all over it. What an awesome idea for a giveaway!
Oh how fun Kathy! A book plus goodies, I can't think of a better giveaway! I didn't know they were called cozy mysteries, but I've read most of the books in the Tea Shop series by Laura Childs.
What a fun giveaway! The book sounds like a good read! Thanks for the chance to win!!
This is great and wonderful Christmas treat! I love cozy mysteries too! I read all of the Joanna Fluke - Cookie Jar mysteries in about a month!
Thanks for the chance to win....
Kathy,
What a great idea! and such lovely extras... I've read almost all of the Diane Mott Davidson mysteries...Have a great day!
how clever to have this great giveaway with themed 'extras' thrown in--wow, count me in! I love these craft-centric books.
I was catching up on your posts this morning, and cracked up at the vintage 70's crocheted fashions! I was a senior '72 girl myself, and these brought back memories to groan over. I wore a hot pants/longer-skirt-over combo under my graduation gown! egads.
How fun and such a sweet giveaway! Count me in! ;) xo Heather

Love mysteries but had not heard of "cozy" mysteries. How could I resist this giveaway?
Oh my gosh I need to know who did it and why now. Leave it to you to find mysteries with a junk theme. I love mysteries, I love junk, and I would LOVE to enter your giveaway. I love how you tied the other cuties into the theme of the book - so clever!
xo
