I Don't Collect These

When I was sorting and putting away all the poke sack loot I realized how many needle threaders I have managed to accumulate.  The key word here is ACCUMULATE.  Another one of those things I never buy on purpose and yet here they are, poke sack collateral.  The funny thing is, I never, ever use one.  I always thread needles the old fashioned way.  But if I ever need one I'm set!
What do you accumulate??

Well that's an interesting accumulation! The only thing I seem to have accumulated lately is dust bunnies.

How nice that you can thread a needle the old fashioned way. Your eyesight is better than mine. I agree with oldgreymare - you need to incorporate these into a project or make something out of them. As far as accumulating things...I am guilty of accumulating lots of things. Happy hunting this weekend. I hope you find some more things to accumulate.

I noticed that I had quite a few the other day too! And I don't gravitate to all the sewing stuff like you do!

No fair asking what I accumulate. I already have too many "collections" and now you want me to count my "accumulations"? No way.... :>)

I accumulate these as well and I use them...often times the style of thread dictates if I need one..The older ones are the best as they were soldered together better.. The new ones that are made in china break within the first or second threading...keep accumulating...smiles..Renee

Books! Lots and lots of books! Every spring I donate a big pile to the library and while I'm there, I buy another big pile and lug them all home and put them back on the shelves again. Go figure!

I see a Christmas ornament made out of those needle threaders with a mirror circle in the center.

Just recently, it seems the accumulated Christmas ornaments are starting to stack up around here. No idea how that happens.

What crafty plans do you have for your accumulation?

Seriously -- I have begun to use those and I never seem to be able to find one when I need it, despite best efforts! What I seem to accumulate is crochet needles and I don't crochet anymore! And elastic.
