Another Vintage Beauty

This time a tiny one.  This little dress measures just 29" from top to bottom. It is too big to be a Christening gown and would fit a 4-5 year old.  It is made of white lawn and looks to be the same era as the gorgeous Victorian dress I showed you a couple of weeks ago in this post.  Maybe I found that lovely lady's daughter's dress.  Well I can imagine that!
What is hard to imagine is WHERE I found it - at The Bins.  Sometimes I am glad one man's trash is one man's trash!  I didn't take a "before" picture this time but, trust me, it did not jump out of the bin and say look how pretty I am.  I should rename my blog Wash, Rinse and Repeat!

Very pretty! What is your secret to getting things cleaned up? I haven't been very successful with it so would love to know what soap you use and any other tricks you have.

What a beauty! You deserve a prize for digging in the bins. Glad it found you.

It's so angelic looking now that you've made it pretty again. Don't you wonder about its history? Another great discovery at The Bins.

Are you serious? Who is getting rid of these. I just saw a mourning dress at the flea the other day marked at 250. People are really cleaning out their houses...smiles...Renee

Oh, how sweet is that dress?! It's just mind boggling what people will get rid of. I'm glad you were there to rescue her. :)
