That week-long hiatus I took while I blog hopped through Where Bloggers Create was not entirely junkless. I did gather just a few treasures from estates,VOA and The Bins.
Instead of taking a picture of the pig-pile, I took the time for some close-ups this time. A new aluminum "basket" for my collection plus buttons - yay!
I will try to limit the comments so I don't inflict another overly long post on you so soon!
More buttons and a sweet little crochet pincushion. I should have taken a picture of that box the buttons are in. It has the sweetest little pictures of babies floating on the clouds.
If only that little bank book could talk. Bess started out with $1 on December 19,1925 then slowly amassed her forture of $7.23 which she emptied out in it's entirety on February 3, 1932. I wonder if she bought a bicycle, or maybe a prom dress...
This apron looks unused and LOVE that color!
A stack of older maps that are all counties in Oregon. These would be great covering a wall!
A couple yards of amazingly colorful vintage fabric. This would make a great tote bag.
I really should re-name my blog "wash, rinse and repeat"!
Two vintage drapery panels. Everything old is new again.
Yes, I know this little doe is missing her antlers but who could resist an avocado green Christmas deer, let me ask you. Apparently not me!

I love it. Wash, rinse and repeat. The buttons on the aluminum look fantastic. You can see all the colors. I adore your little box of dennison. I have that too and it is such a cute little reminder of before. Sweet little bank. I vote for the prom dress. Maybe it will be in the bins next week? Smiles...Renee
Love all your little goodies! I'm always a sucker for buttons and yours looks so pretty in that sweet dish. That bright fabric reminds me of the dresses my mom used to make herself. I think my favorite is the little box of pins.
Lots of goodies! I have such a soft spot for those little crocheted hat pincushions.
Lovin' all your goodies!!I hope to one day come across a lot of doilies! Lucky girl you!! I wash, rinse, and repeat, and still have no luck! ha! xo Heather
Once again, I'm drooling all over my keyboard! Buttons, linens, fabric, oh my. You find such great stuff!
Oh yes - another great haul. Fun to read the bank book. You do wonder what she bought...buttons?

I wouldn't have been able to resist the green deer, either! And the yummy buttons! And the bank book...I am imagining she emptied the bank account for her honeymoon...
