The Comfort Of An Old Friend

I added two more quotes to the altered book this week.  I am amazed this thing does not just split open but there are only four empty pages left and I will stop pushing it's limit.  I have been working on this project for so long that it feels like an old friend when I open it up. Finishing it is starting to feel a little bittersweet, like reaching the last chapter in an especially good book.  You want to know how it ends but you hate for it to be over.

I just love your quote book. I don't know where you find these quotes but they really are wonderful words to live by. It is a treasure you can pass on and know that it will be read and enjoyed and therefore never really be "done".

I have SOOO enjoyed your quote book and I hope you'll start another one when the time comes!
I like the respect quote. It's a good one to teach our daughters and granddaughters.

Perfect analogy - such a great book you've created Kathy... You simply HAVE to do another!

Hi Kathy, your book is so beautiful and the quotes make it such a special treasure. Great analogy and description on your time spent creating it.
We just got back from our trip to The Prairie by Rachel Ashwell. I will share pics soon.

Wishing you a wonder New Year filled with many blessings.
Hugs

5 more days and I will be able to start creating my indoor craft room. Then, I will be able to do a page of an altered book in the middle of the night if I feel like it.

Your book is beautiful, your friendship is cherished.

Happy New Year
