I haven't shown any buttons in a while so thought you might like to see some recent finds. The ones above are all colorful plastic.
These are glass and MOP. I adore that red glass bow!
These are all plastic with rhinestones.
Plus a few cards. Sometimes I save them because the card is complete and other times it is just because I like the card. The red buttons are glass. Click it bigger so you can see the sweet blue flowered ones. I seldom find that kind so was delighted to find a full card.
NOT a Christmas post, for sure, but I did get my tree up yesterday so I have finally started!

What is it about buttons? I love pretty buttons.
My sister got my grandmother's button collection. She chose quite a few of them do display in shadow boxes.

I agree with Carol, there is something wonderful about buttons. When I was a young girl Mom would give me a scrap of fabric and a needle and thread, and then get down her button box. I could sit and go through the pretty buttons and practice sewing them onto the fabric. It was a special treat for me :) What I like about finding old buttons on cards is seeing the price. You have a lovely collection :)
Keep Smiling,
Your blogging sister, Connie :)
Well, you are ahead of me on Christmas because we have done NO decorating as yet. I, too, love your red bow button and the little flowered ones on the card. It is fun when you post your buttons!
Button, button, who's got the button? We all know KATHY does - that's who!
Nice assortment!

Yummy buttons! You always have the best luck finding the fun ones. I know what you mean about the cards, sometimes they're the main attraction.
Pretty, pretty buttons! I always love the ones on the cards! xo Heather

I really love the old cards too... and gasp when I see the prices (only 10 cents... really?). Very cool additions to your collection Kathy - love the red bow too!
The red glass bow is just too cute! I wish new buttons still came on those awesome cards. But then again, I would probably spend way more money than I already do, lol!
Lovely -- especially the blue ones! I'm a bit late but that's par for the course these days: so glad you started on Christmas!
