Leaving LasVegas

I returned from LasVegas early yesterday morning and got home mid-afternoon.  After two afternoon naps and a good night's sleep in my own bed I was ready for some junking this morning.  My first stop was Nina & Joe's Division Street Antiques because they always have something new to see.
I picked up two beautiful pieces of barkcloth, some hangers and many bits and pieces for art-making.
The phone, wire basket and the awesome enamelware bin are from the VOA.  That phone is just begging for a vintage rose in the center of the dial.  I talked myself out of the wire basket and set it back on the shelf no less than three times before I finally came to my senses that it was $3.99 and, if I decided I couldn't find a place for it, I could always donate it back.  Sometimes I'm too cheap for my own good.
I don't know what the blue bin was intended for but it was clearly used for flour since there is still some left in the bottom.  The hinged lid is perforated for ventilation.
I have been researching the mark but so far I have come up empty.  If any of you are collectors or know of a good resource, please let me know!  It seems awfully big to ship so it will be staying with me for the time being.
This shows the other two marks on the bottom.  I am guessing the 30 stands for quarts or liters.

You didn't waste any time getting back into your junking groove. I love the colors and pattern on your barkcloth and I'm happy you decided to bring that wire basket home.

In helping my daughter move this past week, my house has been totally neglected. I want to do a little junkin' this week for some new inspiration.

I love what you found.

Oh! More fun things! I am always surprised at what you find at both of your places. I keep saying I will get over there and maybe I really will!! Love the big tin but don't know about the markings. Good score on the bark cloth.

Hm, I don't recognize that mark but I will keep an eye out for it. What a great, big pot!

Great finds Kathy! I love that you went thrifting as soon as you could...

I too was away for work and missed my routine. It's so good to be home again!

First thing I noticed was all the pink (LOVE the phone) and then the wire basket. I've been looking for one like that but won't pay the prices I've seen them for. I would have snatched it up at the price you got it for and wouldn't have thought twice!

Hi Kathy! How fun a trip to Vegas! I always buy those advertising hangers too. I don't know about the marking on the pot. The wire rack looks good for your studio.
