Look What the Mailman Brought!

I mentioned in this post last summer that I was going to be published in SEW Somerset and showed a sneak peek of something I was submitting to Somerset Studio, as well. This is the advance comp copy I just received. My piece "The Poppy" in on page 114 in the Expressions section. They did a nice job with it. It is pretty large so they had to reduce it a lot but it is still clear. Those folks know what they are doing! I don't have the original back yet to show you. My SEW Somerset article was postponed until Spring. I was happy about that decision since it has a springtime theme and I kind of wondered why they would publish it in the Winter issue. That will be a fun one because it will include the technique article I submitted with it.
Gotta love those Stampington folks!

That's wonderful - you must be thrilled! I know I would be. Next time I'm in Portland (ie, bookstores and fabric stores) I'll look for it.

Always such a thrill! Congratulations Kathy!! My issue has not arrived yet - usually a two week delay to get to me in Brussels. Our mail comes to my husband's work so when I know a magazine is due in, I email him every afternoon to see if it has arrived. Poor man - I drive him crazy!!!! I'll go straight to page 114 as soon as it arrives!
