These vintage children's ice skates are so adorable! I found them at lunchtime today. All afternoon I was picturing two tiny ice dancers whirling and twirling their way around the rink.
I would say they fit 6 - 8 year olds. Yes, I know Mom probably dropped them off at the skating rink or maybe even the edge of the frozen lake so she could get a little piece of peace but I like my story better so I'm sticking with it.

What a fun find, and they look like they were used often. I like your story too!
They really are a blast from the past! How neat! Hugs!
Adorable!
My sisters and I would walk two miles down to the casting ponds (no mom dropping us off! She babysat children, so she couldn't load everyone up just to take us to where the ice was!) We would skate for hours. Finally, when we wanted to go home we were frozen. Sometimes, we would call mom to pick us up, but she couldn't (we didn't understand the connection, silly us!). So, we would walk the two miles home, feet so frozen we could hardly feel them! At home, we stripped out of our cold, ice-crusty clothes and began to warm up. Then, we would do it all again a few days later! I was never very good at ice skating. I could never hold my ankles straight, but I would still try.
These are so darn cute! A black pair and a white pair...I'd say they once belonged to a brother and sister team preparing for the Olympics!
