This bad blogger has been so busy cleaning up the mess from the launch at the antique mall that I have let over a week go by without posting. I'm sure it is no surprise that I have still been junking so here are a few recent finds. Everything in this picture was a lunch stop at The Bins. I adore those little Putz trees and GLASS GARLAND. I never find that and sure didn't expect it to turn up there of all places!
I made another hat stand because the three I took to the antique mall sold already. They all sold on the same day so it will be interesting to find out if it was a fluke. I have another in waiting on my reasonably cleared off workbench.
I opened up a cardboard box at The Bins and gasped when I found these 1930s patterns inside.
These little treasures were a recent find at Division Street Antiques (aka Nina and Joe's). The needle book and buttons will be staying with me. The buckles will eventually be included in inspiration kits.
Our weather has finally cooled of to more normal Portland Summer temps, thank goodness! I hope you are all enjoying your Summer and finding great junk!

Just love those books and buttons!!!
I've found mercury glass bead garland at the bins ONCE. It is like the holy grail when it doesn't get smashed by old tube tvs, pots and pans, and other heavy things!
we don't have the Bins around here but I did go to one in Portland once, you have to really be a treasure hunter to Dig LOL
love the blue and white covered wig head
Love all your little bits and pieces. Is that a chippy red matchstick holder I see? Congratulations on selling all your hat stands; I'm not surprised.
I sure don't find as many wonderful treasures at our Goodwill Bins store. I am so jealous! Our Bins store used to be in another location in town but moved a couple of years ago. Ever since then, I don't find as many treasures as I used to. Good for you. And congratulations on the sale of the hat displays. You're doing a great job.
Hugs, Marrianna
I would have gasped at those patterns too! And I love the book covers...
We don't have anything like the Bins here.
Love that hat stand. What do you make them out of? That's the first time I've seen any like that.
Love it all but, OH, those patterns! Definite treasure there.
What treasures! Those patterns would have made me faint.
I'm not surprised the hat stands sold. They were beautiful, and I've never seen anyone transform them the way you have, Kathy.
Also, you remember that big collection of embroidery floss I bought from your shop? I have been having a wonderful time using it for my summer projects: http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh289/LynnViehl/2015%20PBW/IMG_3321_zpsgxahk6xa.jpg
Great treasures and yes-forever junking over here too!
Oh I love those cream colored buttons on the button card! So pretty! What a fun find, finding all those patterns together! Love your hat stand lady! I'm sure she will sell too, given how cute she is!! ;) Happy new week! xo Holly
I love looking for my favorites in your finds.
Today, I have 2. I love the One World needle holder, but the little red box reminds me of something my parents had - a match holder?
the patterns are a find! Fun to hear about what is selling..... are you selling the kits there too?
