Packed In!

I just finished packing in at Monticello this morning.  We got there at the moment we could get inside and finished with 2 minutes to spare.  I was SO happy I had staged it all ahead of time and taken pictures to guide me.  Sorry this photo is pretty wonky.  I had to stand in another booth to take it and still cut off the top of the shelf.  The pretty rose tablecloth on the right is not mine, it is my neighbors, but a happy accident that it is so complementary.  Now the waiting game....  Oh wait, I have already been waiting my whole life!  This is a bucket list day for me.  8+)

SO SO excited for you Kathy - I hope your first day is a GREAT one! The booth looks so nice and inviting. What a great idea to set it up at home an take a photo. Since it is a small space - can you take photos of some of your larger pieces and put in a book? That way of someone is looking for something specific you can show them a photo...

It looks perfect! All color coordinated and a great variety! I started my antiques booth 7 years before I quit working. I did sales and I used to drive around in my car all day thinking of my booth. You know what i don't see, maybe it is in the suitcase, you could make up bags of buttons and trims etc. people love grab bags and i know you have tons of little things that could fit in bags. Of course you will never really be able to figure out what people want...it is such a crap shoot, what sells one month, does not sell the next!? Be sure to let us know what sells....have fun!

Congratulations! One of my antique dealer friends says "Pile it high and watch it fly". I hope you have merchandise flying out of your booth!

Well, I did a little window shopping and I settled on the enamel pan - that red edging is great!
