What I See In My Crystal Ball

I'm sure none of you are surprised by what I filled the new glass globe with.  My crystal ball always sees buttons in my future - lol!  I picked out all neutral tones and it took about 6 hours of sorting because the globe is so big so I got a mega-fix of button sorting.  It is pretty impossible to control the placement of the buttons so I was very happy when that little star button settled in exactly the right spot.
No Black Friday for me.  I am hoping everyone else is at the retail stores and I have the thrifts to myself.  A girl can dream!

Love it. I have one filled with buttons, too. Love the little star. No Black Friday for me either. Just relaxing as I'm helping at an estate sale tomorrow for All My Favorite Things.

You didn't disappoint, it's no surprise you filled the glass globe with buttons. So darn clever! I prefer to keep my sanity (what's left of it, lol), so no Black Friday shopping for me.

That looks delightful (but yes, no surprise you filled it with buttons.) I like the colors you chose, too.

I make most of my gifts so I always stay home on Black Friday. My guy works in retail, however, so he had to leave for work at 5:30 am this morning and just rolled in at 11:46 pm tonight -- and has to go back at 5:30 am tomorrow!

I have to admit I didn't see that coming. I have a cold (day 5) and a terrible brain fog. It turned out wonderfully, and where the star turned up is very special. Serendipity! I love it! Have a wonderful day!

So wonderful. I braved the Black Friday crowds but it wasn't as bad as I had imagined. Didn't go to the thrift shops. BTW, I'm on the lookout for old baby shoes if you ever see any. In the meantime, I'm enjoying your post with the buttons and soon I'll get up to gather what I want to return to the stores today from my impulse buying yesterday. I didn't get that many things but there are 3 different stores that I will visit later this afternoon when it warms up.

Blessings, Marrianna

Cool idea! Did you end up with a sore finger and wrist? Whenever I do a big old button sort I end up with my index finger and wrist being sore because of all the pinching to pick up buttons.

It's a hazardous world for us button people.

I love it!
We went to one of the busiest and biggest malls in the area to see where Erin works, and it was crazy. I won't do it again!
