I'm sorry this bad blogger has been so absent this last week. It wasn't all work and no play. I have been working on this little project that has been rattling around in my head since I picked up the box at The Bins quite a while back. I call it a Wunderkammer... a cabinet of curiosities. Does it make anyone else feel totally pretentious and filled with anxiety to ask the cost of the materials plus something that isn't even minimum wage for the time and just put it out there and hope people don't think it is ugly and make fun of you? I pressed publish and listed it in my Etsy tonight. GAAAAAH......

Even after 30 years, I ALWAYS feel so vulnerable when I share my ideas and products and ALWAYS undervalue myself. When Jo Packham was here for my shoot she yelled at me for it lol
It looks very neat and fun to peek and see all of the interesting things inside! Well done my friend! I'm off to Etsy to window shop! Hugs!
It's fabulous! I certainly appreciate all the time and effort that went into it. So many fun treasures to look at. I'm sure it won't last long in your shop.
When or if I ever get creative that is just the kind of thing I would do. I love all the little things you put together in each vignette. I think you did a great job!!
Wow, so beautiful Kathy!! I really love it!! xo Heather
So pretty Kathy! I'll have to go take a better look at it! Looks like there's so many treasures in there! :) xo Holly
I absolutely know what you mean! Everyone says I under price myself....It isn't that I don't value my work, it is just that I hate to take anyone's money

Looks like a fun project and who doesn't like a cabinet full of curiosities!?
I learned a new word today! Wunderkammer....and yours is wunderbar!
And I hear ya sistah on the anxiety of 'putting it out there', and especially the pricing. I just listed some pendants in my little etsy shop and the pricing process is sooo angst-y. If I charged by the hour...omg, it would be ridiculous!!
People will love your cabinet of curiosities. You collect the coolest things! Love the fun backgrounds you put behind them all!
That cabinet is amazing Kathy. It looks like you put a lot of time into it. I'm going to have to enlarge the photo and look at it again.

Oh Kathy, this is wonderful!! It's just perfect for all the little curiosities you find.
I feel the same way every single time I put a price on something I make. I find it very stressful.
It's fabulous Kathy! I so envy you for taking the time to put it all together -- I dream of doing stuff like that in 3D!
i, too, am interested in putting my own wunderkammer together. some day had better come sooner rather than later! i really love yours...so many interesting goodies and put together with so much love! i enjoy every little compartment!
It is wonderful kathy - good luck, I am certain it will sell : )
