Making Hay While The Sun Shines

Or, to be more accurate, snapping a picture during one of those crumbs of Summer.  My first Oriental Lily opened this week and my color-confused Hydrangea, too.
I don't want to jinx things by speaking too soon, but the crumbs seem to be coming a little closer together.  I am taking a long weekend so looking forward to 5 days off with time and opportunity for junking and gardening, BOTH!
UPDATE!  I just read the news and my heart goes out to you readers who are suffering through the high temperatures with your power out and no AC.  I will stop whining about our PNW lack of Summer right NOW.
Take good care and do what you need to to keep cool!

Your hydrangea are beautifully confused. I think that might qualify for a new species. Isn't it weird what weather will do? It makes me cranky. Oh well, mother nature. I get over it and keep on going. I do love that color combo though...smiles...Renee

Isn't it crazy how we have this feast or famine situation going on with the weather? I love your hydrangea!! I am sure you will enjoy your time off and I can't wait to hear about it!

I've seen a lot of color confused hydrangeas around here and I love it. The pop of orange from your lily is just gorgeous.
Crazy weather! We never did lose power but lots of people we know lost it Thursday night and still don't have it. I hope you've enjoyed your time off.
