Ah, the true problem of the vintage seller -- how to store all the goods so that you have them on hand season by season. Take heart: no one has enough room -- no one!

For your lamps, you might try getting some shade frames and tying them with muslin rags. People seem to love that look here.Lauriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14256613312759056047noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1439103697481204358.post-64863999113070620112016-02-20T01:07:14.715-08:002016-02-20T01:07:14.715-08:00The one big antique mall I go to here has plenty o...The one big antique mall I go to here has plenty of vintage linens in the various booths. They're usually displayed on shelves or in mini hope-type chests, but one seller hangs hers (folded, on the diagonal) with clothespins from a trellis lattice at the back of her booth. I've also seen folded linens displayed on small ladders and in wicker laundry baskets. Since I often buy old textiles I really like seeing the dimensions listed on the tag so I don't have to unfold and measure them myself (awkward in a small space); you might do that for your customers, too. the authorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03220786472896283714noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1439103697481204358.post-38000974882222482242016-02-19T13:29:55.401-08:002016-02-19T13:29:55.401-08:00I can only imagine the the scene if you had to cal...I can only imagine the the scene if you had to call 911, too funny! So, about 2 years ago I decided only Christmas stock would be stored up there. Well, I brought my Christmas stock home from the booth the 2nd week of January. And there it still sits on my office floor. It's been too cold to get up in the attic (or just pure laziness - I haven't decided)!Melissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07465862144480036138noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1439103697481204358.post-29549048392175264752016-02-19T00:05:54.596-08:002016-02-19T00:05:54.596-08:00Lots of great finds here, but I am focused on the ...Lots of great finds here, but I am focused on the word retirement.
